Reformer Pilates - With the right studio I would definitely be "That Girl"

Ever since I started seeing the "reformer Pilates trend" on social media, I've been a fan. The beautiful outfits, the matcha latte, not a single drop of sweat and of course I'd love to have that figure. I now see a Lululemon outfit and an overpriced matcha as a direct investment in my health.

I am definitely a “Wannabe That Girl”.

I enjoy wearing the flattering leggings, but sometimes I get bored with the classic gym workouts. The classes my boyfriend takes me to, where I have to jump around and the trainers yell at you - I'd rather stay at home.

Even after signing up for the best gym near me, I find it hard to find the motivation. It would probably be best for me to have an Alo Reformer Pilates studio around the corner so I can really live the lifestyle.

A matcha from the lovely café next door, a cap from my own brand, a pair of Lululemon leggings and I transform into “that girl” that I normally am not.

I get up at 5:30am to be at the first class at 6am, so I'm a member of the 5AM club. I read books about financial freedom, work on my startup, and then do my 9-5 before cooking pasta for dinner, which I eat guilt-free with my boyfriend.

Every time I see these TikTok videos, I am a little more convinced that I could be like that too if there was a studio like that near me.

I think all the influencers experience it very differently. They visit these studios regularly and have leggings in every color. They would probably prefer not to go to these studios so often. Maybe they would just leave the house without perfect styling and filming. No nice outfit, no matcha latte.

I find it hard to understand the more serious videos on social media that you see from time to time, in which influencers talk about how everything they do and how they look is judged. Is it really that bad? And if so, how do they all manage to be "That Girl" anyway?

These mostly emotional videos not only do away with romantic ideals, but also make you feel the pressure that influencers have to bear every day and that you and I don't have.

By the way, I've now started doing Pilates (not reformer Pilates) on Sundays in a studio next door. Once a week and it's not really a studio, it's a shop that normally sells clothes and rolls out a few mats on Sundays. I have to say, I think it's great, it's only 100 meters away and the workout, as well as the trainer, gives you a "boutique fitness feeling". I also go to the normal gym workouts every now and then.

With two people, these hairstyle-destroying workouts are only half as bad as doing them alone.

I hope you like my Pilates collection :)
